Raegan Cromwell, currently a senior at LVHS accepts her award/check from the Point Venture Lions Club for her Drug Awareness Speech, "Juuling and E Cigarette Epidemic" at the Virtual District Contest.  Standing with her are her parents, Robyn and Benjamin Cromwell and members of PV Lions Charity Committee .  At the Lions District 2S3 level, Raegan won 2nd place in her Drug Awareness Speech!  Congratulations Reagan!   Thank you Raegan for participating in the youth contest!

Collection of "new unwrapped" items for Dell Childrens Hospital continues.  Blankets, stuffed animal, coloring books, markers, play-doh tools, & kits, Jenga/UNO, Candyland, action figures, Barbies and Lego kits can be dropped at the Pontessos' home at 104 Venture Drive S until January 29th.

Collection for toiletries, paper goods etc. continues for the Jonestown Community Center.  Items may be left in the collection box at the POA office entrance.

The PV Lions annual Holiday Food Drive is taking place now until Christmas.  The collection box is at the front entrance. Neighbors and Lions are encouraged to place canned goods in the box.  Lions will deliver the collected canned food  to Hill Country Ministries or an other Food pantry.  

The Jonestown toiletries collection will resume after Christmas.  

Lions Cathy Soukup and Laurie Glass fill orders for the Christmas Cactus Scholarship fundraiser.  The last day for pick up is Saturday 12/5 from 12-1pm at the POA Venture Room.

The Point Venture Lions have identified a family in our Village who could use some assistance over the Thanksgiving holiday. Lion Vicky Lockwood is coordinating the collection of food items such as canned cranberry sauce, fruit, sweet potatoes, stuffing mix, along with checks and HEB gift card donations.  See instructions below:
